Cody Bell shoved his hands into the pockets of his denim jeans as he walked out to the stables that morning, it had gotten down to twenty degrees last night and he wanted to make sure the horses were okay. As he entered the stables, the one thing he wasn't expecting to hear was a light laughter.

"Oh God, kindergarten flashbacks." Cody smirked, figuring it to be Brooklyn.

"I wasn't aware you were the type of guy that got teased." Came a light voice and Cody's eyes landed on Lulu Spencer, a fond smile spread across his face. Lulu had only been awake since roughly thanksgiving but, she had managed to steal Cody's heart in a mere two and a half months.

"Oh yeah, Dante and Brooke were my only friends. I was a...weird kid." Cody didn't want to elaborate on that subject, watching as she stroked one of the older horses.

"I was weird too, aren't we all? At least you had friends, I had to invent friends so people would think I was cool." Lulu laughed.

"Did it work?" Cody wondered, curious.

"It probably would have worked better if I hadn't picked the name Elvis." Lulu slightly cringed.

"Elvis...long live the king." Cody chuckled, fist bumping her. God, Dante would clown him so hard if he could see him right now.

"Has Dante warned you off yet?" Lulu smirked, knowingly.

"Believe it or not, yes. I'm not even supposed to be thinking about talking to you." Cody admitted, he'd never done well with authority.

"Well, it's no fun playing by the rules. See you around, Bell." Lulu winked at Cody, walking back up to the main house with a smirk.

"Yeah, see you around Spencer." Cody nodded, he'd definitely been looking for this woman his whole life, he'd have to break his word to his best friend...
